Our tails are to be used with monofins. A monofin is an insert for a fabric-made tail that gives it its shape and supports swimming. Fabric tails have slits at the bottom which allows to pull the fabric over the monofin.

You will receive a floppy fabric tail only which you can use with your existing Magic Fin monofin.
My daughter loves this. It fits really well, the fin is secure. We don't have any trouble getting the fin and tail on her and she just looks beautiful with it on in the water. Highly recommended.

Disappointed that the board for the tail we received was blue and my daughter’s friends all received purple, so she feels that hers is different and is not as happy. Sad but can not fault product itself, just wished her tail board was the same colour as her friends who are all the same age.
United KingdomMy 7 year old loves her mermaid set, she feels like a real mermaid, it was top of her Christmas list and she absolutely adores it! I ordered bigger as she is tall for her age and it's a lovely fit, with abit of grow room too, the fabric is lovely and really vibrant, takes abit of time to get used to putting the mono tail on but you do get used to it, then it's easy! I love the fact you can buy other colours for your fin! Would recommend!

United KingdomUnfortunately we haven’t used the item yet as I ordered age 12-14 for my daughter as she is a tall 11 year old but it’s too big on the waist and body. I’m in the process of returning for a smaller size. There is also an issue with the fin as she can’t get her feet in as it’s too tight. She has narrow feet so it’s difficult to know why it doesn’t fit. Unfortunately we live outside the UK which makes it too expensive to send it back due to size/weight. On a positive note, customer service has been faultless so a big thank you to the team for getting the set to me before Xmas and hoping they can assist with exchanging the set for a smaller size soon. The set itself is good quality and well presented.
