Our tails are to be used with monofins. A monofin is an insert for a fabric-made tail that gives it its shape and supports swimming. Fabric tails have slits at the bottom which allows to pull the fabric over the monofin.

United KingdomI ordered the item as a Christmas present. It arrived promptly and I opened and had a quick check but didn’t look at it in detail. When it came to wrapping it up I noticed the wrong size tail had been sent. It was now fairly close to Christmas but after one email the situation was resolved, a new tail on its way and an envelope to return the original one. I think I’m used to such bad service these days that you expect a return to be a hassle but it wasn’t at all and I felt like a very valued customer. In terms of the product, so far it’s not been used but my daughter loves it and the quality looks great.

United KingdomMy purchase did not arrive on the date it was suggested it would on ordering. I was leaving to go on holiday early on the date it was to eventually be delivered. Despite requesting with Royal Mail that the delivery be taken to the sorting office for collection on return it was delivered outside my unoccupied property. On return 11 days later unsurprisingly there is no sign of my parcel and so far planet mermaid have not replied to any of my emails asking for help in sorting this issue.
