This tail is sold with a monofin that gives it its shape and aids swimming. The tail can be used for role playing or swimming as long as you follow our safety rules. Hours of fun and fairytale-like photos are guaranteed, especially if you take this tail with you on a beach holiday.

Warning: Mermaid tails or monofins can significantly reduce the person’s ability to swim and can only be used by competent swimmers under strict competent adult supervision at all times, regardless of swimming ability.
Our tails are to be used with monofins. A monofin is an insert for a fabric-made tail that gives it its shape and supports swimming. Fabric tails have slits at the bottom which allows to pull the fabric over the monofin.

The process of ordering the mermaid tail set was easy (however choosing which colour took a while!). It arrived quickly, well packaged and has made my 7 year daughter very happy indeed. She has worn it several times around the home and garden and also on the beach during our recent trip to Cornwall. It is exceptional quality and washes very well. 5 stars! We would love to have a lesson on how to use it now x

I ordered two individual mermaid sets from the website for my two girls. Items arrived as stated on website. The quality of the items purchased is high quality and safe for my girls to use at the beach or in our local swimming pool. We were missing one tank top but after an email and two days we received it with apologies and to matching scrunchies. From the quality of the items the quick email responses we highly recommend and will buy in the future!

United KingdomGot this product for my daughter in june we are now in august and the part of the tail is breaking up. Exacly the place where you put your feet in. Material all around is breaking, i needed to sew it if not my daughter couldn't use it any more. Just to say its a normal use not every day. Im bit disappointed with the quality and It's a pity because my daughter loves it. Thought she can used not just this summer. I can attach the picture if you would like to see it. I would like to know if is any way of changing that part. Thanks
