Our tails are to be used with monofins. A monofin is an insert for a fabric-made tail that gives it its shape and supports swimming. Fabric tails have slits at the bottom which allows to pull the fabric over the monofin.

Mermaid tail with NO monofin
You will receive a floppy fabric tail only which you can use with your existing Magic Fin monofin.

United KingdomWe bought this in age 8 for our 6 year old, and it’s ever so slightly too big, but still perfect because it fits and has room for her to grow over the next year or two, making it really good value. We bought it with the Monofin and the tankini top. She tried them on INSTANTLY and they look fantastic. Excellent quality material, really well made. Because of Covid-19 none of the pools are open, and so we have to wait until we go on holidays (if we are allowed to) to actually use it in water. I’ll post an updated review then, but for now, everything looks to be great.
