Une monopalme est un type d'aide à la natation qui est souvent utilisé par les nageurs professionnels et les plongeurs libres. La monopalme consiste en une seule surface plane qui est attachée aux deux pieds du nageur, ce qui fait donc un nageur ressembler à une sirène ou à un homme.
Les monopalmes Planet Mermaid sont conçues pour être faciles à mettre et à enlever. Ils sont confortables, flexibles et très durables. Pour mettre une monopalme, il vous suffit de tirer des «chaussettes» en tissu et elles tiendront la monopalme sur vos pieds, ce qui signifie qu'aucune sangle de cheville ne provoque des ampoules comme vous pouvez l'obtenir avec d'autres palmes.
Pour nager avec une monopalme, la technique appelée «coup de pied de dauphin» est utilisée. Le corps est étiré avec les bras étendus vers l'avant et le mouvement ondulant commence dans les épaules et se poursuit vers la région de la hanche créant une impulsion puissante.
Le port d'une monopalme permet de rendre cette technique très efficace et de développer une vitesse impressionnante sans dépenser trop d'énergie.

La queue de sirène faite pour la natation est généralement livrée avec des monopalmes. We had bought a far less superior fin from the Web which kept falling off my little girls feet even with the mermaid tail on. Your fin stays on and is easy for her to remove when she wants too. Now she is a little mermaid.

This is essential, if you want your child to have the FULL experience of swimming like a mermaid or shark. I had bought the tail previously but realise now that you can't really swim like a fish without it. My only gripe with it is that the foot holes are quite small and my 8 year old has already torn the seams around them trying to get on and off.
